The LM 28, with their characteristic sheltered, internal steering gives total comfort, warmth and protection, especially suited to Scottish waters when the weather changes and the security of the wheelhouse becomes a safe haven for the helmsman and crew alike. Predominately shallow water which again favours the sailing vessel drawing just 3ft 8inc and capable of taking the ground. The Isles of Scilly are well worth the effort of venturing out into the Atlantic Ocean. Last year we cruised right down to the beautiful Isles of Scilly, via Bardsey Island, Solva, Milford Haven and Padstow. We enjoyed some wonderful anchorages and magnificent scenery, venturing as far as Inveraray and Tobermory, subsequently making a long and slow retreat back to North Wales. Two years ago we ventured into Scottish waters, making the long passage via the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. He is a very capable cruiser with the added benefit of twin keels, which have proved extremely useful on the few occasions we have overnighted in drying harbours, such as Hayle or St Ives. We have owned Josaphine just 3 seasons, but we have covered more the 2500 miles during that period. There are a number of improvements, many small in detail but in total adding to the overall comfort and efficiency such as Kettle stand, Outboard Bracket, re varnishing and improving many wooden trims, improvised cockpit bed/ sun lounger etc etc
